Excellent Tour, Highly Recommend
Just came back from a wonderful family holiday through Montenegro and the Croatian coastal area. It’s was a great combination of adventure, nature and culture. Our tour guides Vladimir and Vanja were excellent: knowledgeable, flexible and great fun. I highly recommend A.C.E Adventure Travel!!

Great trip Montenegro and southern Croatia
My 14-year-old son and I had a fantastic group trip through Montenegro and southern Croatia. We were excellently guided by our ACE tour guide and his intern, who organized fun activities every day and arranged nice places to eat. They always paid attention to our safety and comfort and were also very pleasant themselves. The group was great as well; we had a wonderful time!

Best vacation ever!
Cycle the Dalmatian Coast Just do it! This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. The cycling route has been thoughtfully chosen to maximize the beauty and safety of the ride. We rode along spectacular coastlines and through lush vineyards and olive groves. We stayed in lovely seaside hotels on the islands of Hvar and Korcula and had many opportunities to swim in the sparkling Adriatic and explore the ancient villages and cities along the way. The best part was the comradery and relationship of fun that developed with our guides and fellow riders. Thank you David, Pregtag, and Zoran for an adventure of lifetime...flawlessly staged! Taff Ely Ramblers in Montenegro 2023
This was the second trip with ACE Adventures, undertaken by Taff Ely Ramblers. The first tour in Croatia was such an enjoyable experience I could not wait to join the group when the trip to Montenegro was advised. The highlight of the trip was the white water rafting, as the summer had been dry it was not as breathtaking as when the river is in full flow, members of the group who were concerned that they could not swim were exhilarated after. The hotels and food were great and the wine tasting was fantastic. Danijela was a fantastic guide and solved every challenge we gave her with a smile. I hope we can join you again.

Awesome from start to end!
What a fantastic trip!
A beautifully organised, fun filled adventure with a group of like minded people and a knowledgeable, interesting and hard-working guide.
I'm a solo, female traveller, not as brave, or as fit as I'd like to be, but I felt safe and looked after from the moment I joined the group at the airport until I left them at the end of the holiday.

Walking the islands of Montenegro and Croatia
This was a wonderful tour, wonderful week & wonderful experience. Our tour guide Vesna was outstanding in every way. She was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, humorous and made sure everyone in the group was safe, happy and enjoying the experience. We were able to visit places and restaurants that we otherwise would never have found. I would highly recommend this trip and I want to thank Vesna for making this such a fun, enjoyable and memorable trip.

Guided Walking Tour in Montenegro
I have just returned from an eight-day ACE tour booked through Headwater that took in three national parks and the Adriatic Coast.
We flew to Dubrovnik where we were met and taken on mountain roads to Zabljak, a ski resort. The hotel lacks lifts but was comfortable and centrally located near the supermarket and restaurants where we dined.
On our first day of hiking we visited the Durmitor National Park where we saw the glacial Black Lake before enjoying a memorable group picnic by Snake Lake with local produce and wine to celebrate a member’s birthday.

Unforgettable walking tour
I was really looking forward to this tour having never been to this part of the world. The tour was brilliant, very well organised and never a dull moment. Our guide, Danijela, was so knowledgeable, professional and kind. The accommodation was fine (no lifts so keep that in mind with luggage) and the food plentiful. The walks were tiring but so worth it! We had a ‘day off’ visiting a beautiful monastery, wine tasting and swimming in Lake Skadar 👌 Memories that I’ll cherish ❤️ Definitely recommend 👍

Adventure of a lifetime!!
I can’t thank you and your team enough for the trip of a lifetime- i didn’t quite know what to expect, but this tour went beyond my wildest dreams and I will never forget this beautiful adventure through the peaks of the Balkans. The tour, which was so meticulously planned, wouldnt have been the same without our incredible tour guide, Arianit, who made the full experience so personalized and memorable, and full of fun, joy, laughter and excitement. I hope to do another tour with you in the future!

A great week's walking in Croatia
On the basis of a recent walking holiday in National Parks of Croatia, I would thoroughly recommend this company. The walks were very varied in the beautiful landscapes - lakes and mountains - and we enjoyed boat trips and visits to places of historical interest as well as walking. The transport by minibus was efficient and we stayed most of the time in a comfortable hotel at Seline on the coast. I appreciated having all meals, including lunches, provided almost every day. Above all, I must commend our outstanding guide, Danijela, who was unfailingly cheerful, hardworking, well-organised, considerate and knowledgeable. She adapted the itinerary slightly to suit the weather conditions and often produced extra food treats for us. Thank you for giving us such a memorable holiday, Danijela!

From the sea to the sky
The landscape of Croatia is varied with limestone rocks creating dramatic features. Swimming in the sea was enjoyable as there was no large waves. Climbing in the mountains gave one the impression you were climbing to the sky. Our guide Danjelia was knowledgeable on many subjects and was an excellent organiser. Excellent adventures.
This was my second walking trip with Ace adventures. The guide danijela was wonderful leading us on many adventures. The organising was great taking account of the weather and ensuring we were safe at all times. Her knowledge of the local history was excellent. Can't wait for the next trip.

Dalmatian Coast walk
I was part of an 8 day walking tour of the Dalmatian Coast led by Danijela - fabulous walks in the National Parks - each day different and adapted to the changing weather - the logistics were so smooth and the local drivers and hotels - small family- run businesses - were so welcoming and eager to give the group a great Croatian experience. For me it was an exhilarating faultless week and I cannot praise Danijela enough for her professionalism, knowledge and sense of fun too.

Croatia Tour
All correspondence before our trip, right up to the last evening we had with Danjela was brilliant. Our first night was in Trogir, a lovely hotel in the old city, the we stayed at the Pansion Croatia in Saline. Each day we had a full itinerary but each day was quite diverse, canyon's, waterfalls, wildlife, rugged hills, ancient monuments....

Top-class tours.
I have been on three of this company's tours so far - Montenegro, Albania and Croatia - and all have been superb. Logistically, everything is incredibly smooth, you don't have to worry at all; the walks are extremely well chosen to showcase Balkan scenery in all its variety and splendour; and the guides are fantastic: good- humoured, unfailingly patient, full of good advice and stories and suggestions of alternative activities if you don't feel up to a particular walk one day or fancy trying something that isn't on the official itinerary. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants an active holiday in the Balkans. Next up for me: one of their cycling tours.

Fantastic cycle tour of Croatia
Really fantastic cycle trip of Dalmatian coastline expertly led by Mica with technical support from Zoran. Excellent equipment and well thought out, stunning routes from Split to Dubrovnik. Our group were not experienced cyclists but Mica was an acomodating and patient guide. Add to all that excellents food & hotels. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Wonderful self-guided Danube cycling trip
I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by A.C.E. Adventure. Travel is complicated at the moment due to the pandemic, but these guys were incredibly helpful in putting together a bespoke tour tailored around my requirements, answering my many questions before and during the trip (even during the weekends), and sorting out lots of other details before and after the cycling tour that made everything that little bit easier for me. Nothing was too much trouble.
The cycling itself through the Serbian countryside was great, and it became clear from talking to Misa and Zoran that they are passionate about what they do and want to share that with their guests. The overnight stays were well-chosen and felt like the kind of off-the-beaten track that I would never have discovered on my own. The owners of the accommodation stops clearly have a great relationship with A.C.E and I felt like I was getting the VIP treatment at every stop.
Highly recommended, and I hope to do another trip with them very soon!Simon W

Guided Cycle tour of Serbia - Cant recommend highly enough
Just completed the 8 day Serbian Cycle tour with ACE Adventure. Excellent communication, superbly organized, with plenty local knowledge so important during travel at this time. Nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed the juxtaposition of relatively industrial in the first 3 days transitioning into amazing gorge and beautiful landscapes in the last 4 days. Plenty of history and interesting sights in a little known corner of the world. Next time will probably go with the front suspension bikes as the roads vary from smooth recently renewed to definitely in need of renewal. We will definitely be back to do some more Balkan cycling and no question we will be using ACE Adventure

Self-guided Danube cycling tour
"My wife and I just completed our cycling tour from Belgrade to Kladovo and the trip went without a hitch. The bikes were the best we have rented (21-speed, front-wheel suspension, disk brakes), the accommodation was good and the people we dealt with very friendly. Misa was always available via WhatsApp to solve a problem or organise a side trip - very professional service and well-planned itinerary. The highlight is the Iron Gates Gorge - spectacular."

Serbia was the highlight with the spectacular Danube Gorge. Serbian food is fresh and healthy too. Highly recommend this company and this tour."
